Dr. Yveda Brutus DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, PMHNP-BC is a distinguished clinician, healthcare executive, and trailblazer in the field of integrated mental health care. With over 20 years of experience in psychiatry out-patient and in-patient settings, and healthcare leadership, Dr. Brutus is dual board-certified in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester.

As the Founder and CEO of First-Class Behavioral & Counseling Services, PLLC, Dr. Brutus has built one of Massachusetts’ leading outpatient mental health practices serving more than 1,500 patients statewide. Under her leadership, the clinic has grown into a multidisciplinary team of nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, and medical providers, offering both in-person and virtual care tailored to meet the needs of a diverse population.

Phuong Nguyen, PMHNP is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania where she specialized in psychiatric mental health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University and Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Physiology from University of Paris VII – Denis Diderot, France. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Phuong worked with patients struggling with diverse mental health concerns, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, autism, and dementia as well as other challenging conditions while being a student nurse practitioner. Phuong takes a holistic approach to mental health treatment combining medication management with counseling techniques and lifestyle modifications. She values collaboration with her interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient. She is passionate about empowering, educating, and advocating for her patients to promote overall mental health and well-being.

Phuong has worked as a registered nurse for six years where she provided care to patients in diverse settings including the skilled nursing rehabilitation facility and dialysis. Many of her patients suffer from depression and anxiety due to chronic pain and decreased quality of life. Phuong believes in attentively listening to her patients and their families, individualizing their care by considering medical, social, economic, and cultural factors, and empowering patients with the appropriate information to make informed decisions about their care. When not consulting her clients, Phuong enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, hiking, watching sports, and spending time with her family.

Marvel Larose, CNP, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in mental health and medical care. Known for his calm presence, thoughtful listening, and compassionate approach, Marvel is deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate emotional challenges with dignity, trust, and respect.

Marvel’s clinical background includes more than 10 years of experience as a visiting nurse serving individuals in Department of Mental Health (DMH) group homes. This work gave him extensive experience treating patients with complex psychiatric diagnoses and co-occurring medical conditions in community-based settings. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College and brings with him a strong foundation in both general medicine and psychiatry, as well as fluency in English, Haitian Creole, and French enabling him to serve diverse populations with cultural sensitivity and humility.

Wilfrid has worked across a wide range of settings including inpatient psychiatry, outpatient mental health clinics, substance use treatment programs, and community-based care providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and integrative therapy planning.

Most recently, he served patients at Northeast Health Services and BrightView Health, where he managed complex psychiatric presentations such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, and treatment-resistant depression. His training and experience at High Point Treatment Center further shaped his expertise in acute psychiatric care, dual diagnosis, and trauma-informed interventions.

In addition to psychiatry, Wilfrid’s foundation in medical-surgical rehabilitation, case management, and long-term care gives him a deep appreciation for how physical and mental health are interconnected allowing him to offer holistic, patient-centered support.

Wilfrid holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Regis College, a Master’s in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, and both a Bachelor’s and Associate Degree in Nursing.
